DISCOVERY 2002 – Low Vision Conference

The ISPB is happy to report that the Discovery 2002 Low Vision Conference was a great success! Over 700 people attended the conference on September 26-28, 2002, at The Congress Plaza Hotel in Chicago.

There were 100 presentations on eye diseases, support groups, independent living assistance to name just a few and 49 exhibits on aids and services.

The conference is a program of Discovery Conference, Inc., a coalition of non-profit organization and government agencies working together to bring people the best in low vision education. Since the first conference in 1991, the groups having been doing just that. The next Low Vision Conference will be held in the fall of 2004 — DISCOVERY 2004.
